For those who would like to help protect the gorillas

Published by admin at 12:56 am under Mountain Gorillas, Rangers

I have received an enormous amount of encouragement from all over the world. We are trying to get the message out to as many people as possible, so that the slaughter of our Mountain Gorillas does not go unnoticed. Many people have asked if they can help, and it is a big source of encouragement for us. WildlifeDirect in Virunga have helped put together some campaign material, which we need to get to as many people as possible. If you are willing to help, please just write to gorillacampaign@wildlifedirect.org, saying simply “I would like to be part of the campaign for the Mikeno Gorillas” and we will send you the information as an email.

Thank you so much.

Yes, this a great way to help. And for those of us who can help financially, PLEASE donate to this cause… funds are badly needed!!!!

I’ve joined and have just received the information via email. Also, is there a separate fund/PayPal account/PayPal banner set up specifically for the increased Mikeno patrol - so that people can put the banners on their sites or blogs?

Thanks for all the support. Faye, we’re working on exactly that at the moment, so that you can manage YOUR own campaign for the gorillas, and set targets, monitor progress etc. Unfortunately it’s a big project, and it will be another couple of months under development. Contact Virginia on info@wildlifedirect.org, and she can discuss with you what we can try to do.

i really want to help. but im just a student, so i really cant help through a financial donation. knowing these things happening not just to the gorillas but to all the animals is really bothering me.

God bless those people who gives their time and effort in making the world a better place not only for humans but also to God’s other creations. I hope I could join you someday.
